| Dundas Valley is a fully integrated golf and curling facility. Curling members have access to all of the amenities available to the golfing members. The curling rink was built in 1955, adjacent to the old clubhouse. To our knowledge, Dundas Valley was the first golf club to integrate golf and curling, although other clubs have since followed suit. We have a 5 sheet curling rink that boasts the best ice, and best ice-maker, in Ralph Padgett. We have a very active Open Competitive section on Wednesday nights, as well as an excellent Mixed Scramble section on Friday and Saturday nights. In addition, our Men’s league on Mondays, Business Women’s on Tuesdays, and Day Men and Ladies leagues keep the ice hopping. A new league this year is our Mixed Competitive league, which will address the need for additional competitive curling formats at the club. We have many Bonspiels and other events at the club over the course of the curling season, mentioned in the section on Curling Leagues. Come and join us for a good time, at Dundas Valley Golf and Curling Club. Curling Membership Privileges As a member of the Curling Section, you have full privileges in the Club. You and your guests can use the Mixed Lounge, Men's/Ladies' Lounge and Dining Room all year round. The Men's and Ladies Lounges are only open for service during the Golf season. The Mixed Lounge and Dining Room are open all year. You will receive a locker during the Curling season, but unless you are a golfing member also, you must vacate it at the end of the season. Guest lockers are available during the summer and the showers and sauna (men's only) are for your use all year. Normally, there is one major social activity per month, all year. These are open to all members (and often, their guests). If you don't golf, this will give you an opportunity to meet some of the golfers. If you do bring guests to the Club, please advise them that there is a dress code. It includes no jeans or T-shirts. While you can pay for food and beverages with cash, you are encouraged to sign chits. A bill will be sent to you after the end of each month. A membership number will be assigned to you. Full members can play in all events, although some events are limited to male/female. Single night members can also play in any event.
